"Great tool. Used on barbed wire and horse fencing (Two needed for horse fence). Only drawback for me was the heavy weight of the tool. Good sign for a heavy duty tool. I definetly recommend this tool to anyone."

"There aren't very many options on the market for barbed wire fence stretchers. I have used a cable come along with wire clamps sold by Northern but this is by far the best option I have found. The paint is on the heavy side on the moving parts but it wears off with use and works more freely. The main down side is the spring tension on the wire release. It is almost over kill for what I feel would be required to hold the wire. Releasing the wire requires a pretty hefty bump with the palm of my hand. My crew has mentioned the same difficulty."
