"I found this device to be extremely useful to load a 114 lb 4 cycle outboard motor on and off of a sailboat. This requires lifting above shoulder height and is risky to both man and motor. The crane performed this task safely and easily. Installation to my F-150 pickup bed was not too difficult but cutting and drilling angle iron to beef up the underside of the bed is a requirement not listed in the instructions. I installed mine in the right rear corner near the tailgate. The actual capacity of the crane really depends upon the mounting and the bed itself."
