An excellent winch for an exceptional price.,

"This is one heck of a winch for a great price. It has plenty of power to pull through even the toughest of recoveries and is durable enough to last for years to come. The whole winch is water tight and stands up to rain snow and even the occasional deep water crossing. I have owned many winchs before this one including a few of the much more expensive name brands but this one meets or beats them all while still being half the price."

"Very reasonably priced winch. I had some trouble with the included electrical information, I like to have things throughly spelled out for me and these were less then informative. The included bolt-on cable guide plate did not fit the unit, it needed mounting holes to be drilled in the proper locations. Still, for the money, you don't mind making a few adjustments."

"Looks realy good, had little difficulty pulling a froze to the ground 2 + Ton Thorny Locust tree (20-25 ft long 18in wide ) loose and up a 45 degree hill for 50-60 ft to load on my trailer . However that was the only pull that day as the cable spooling back on broke the TOO light of connector (5/16 by 3/8 long machine screw) which holds the cable to the drum. I called my local store and was told that since they didn't stock the item I would have to return it to the shipping center for repair or replacement. They assisted me in establishing proper contact but since I needed to use it sooner than I could get it serviced I fixed it myself and so far have had no problem. I certainly think it's worth the money but am confused as to why they would use such a small screw to hold the cable on the hub??"
