"Workmanship is good and installation was easy enough. The lights are nice and bright and were just what I expected. I have not given them the acid test and dunked them in the water-- yet ,but that will happen soon."

Peterson LED Trailer Light Kit,
October 29, 2007
By OilCityOutlaw

"We recently purchased a New 31 Foot Travel Trailer and I was not satisfied with the the tail lights. After much comparison shopping, I decided on the Peterson Piranha Low-Profile LED Rear Trailer Light Kit from Northern Tool. I found the Peterson's to have more LEDs (15) per Light as compared to their competitors (12) per light. This equated to a brighter Tail Light. I also installed custom Aluminum Diamond Plate behind the light with a one inch trim reveal to match and compliment my rear bumper cover. It turned out to be a very attractive custom factory look. LED trailer lights,

"How do you spell trailer lights ??? T-R-O-U-B-L-E. I have fought with regular trailer lights for years with at best 50% satisfaction. I finally broke down and bought the LEDs. Man, what a difference. At least twice as much light. Cars following your trailer can DEFINITELY see you now.
Had them in place for almost 6 months and have yet to have a problem. They are well made, waterproof.. no really, they are and made to handle some mistreatment.
You won't be disappointed. I'll never buy anything else but these.

"It's a good system, but mounting is complicated, need to be bolted from the back, you can't just screw them from the front."
