"This little trailer is ideal for people who love the utility of a full-size pickup but:
1)Have a van or SUV rather than a pickup
2)Don't want/have room to store a big utility trailer.
It is essentially a little 4x8 truck bed that's low to the ground, very handy. However, as most other folks have mentioned, the parts all arrive erector-set style in two heavy boxes. The boxes get beat up. In my case, one corner ripped and one of the four casters was lost in transit.
The assembly instructions are straight forward, but there are a couple mistakes that (unless you catch it) will have you taking one of the cross beams back off and turning it around. As usual, the translation (Origin: Taiwan) is not well proofed so you need to have at least some mechanical aptitude. Especially when it comes to packing & intalling wheel bearings. I imagine more than one customer has roasted bearings by misinstallation, especially with the vague instructions provided.
I upgraded the wiring with more expensive (and reliable) connectors and frame clips. Wiring & connectors provided will work fine, but there's potential for water intrusion & highway damage from road debris. Either way, diligence is required in routing the wiring so you don't cause shorts or open circuits by pinching/pulling the wiring when folding the trailer up.
Provision is made in the folding areas for at least 3/4" plywood decking. I made removable stake sides, and it the whole rig works & tows very nicely. Well worth the extra $75 for the bigger 12" tires on this model.
Handy tip: Make sure you get all the nuts and bolts very tight, and use a square to square up the frame rails as you assemble--it will make all the other pieces line up better as you build."
