You Better Know It,
July 9, 2007
By TheBearfrom Gulfport, Ms.
"I just finished using my Northern Industrial Tools 18-Gauge Brad Nailer, on a job that you wouldn't think of it being used for. I installed a privacy fence using 18ga x 2" nails, to secure 3/4" boards to 2"x4" rails. It just demostrated the toughness of the Northern Brand products. It's really light weight but packs a punch. As light as it is, I can only imagine the ease that you'll get installing trim or something more in line with its intended purpose. The cost is almost half of what you will pay for some other brands. Check it out, you won't regret it!"

"What more good things can be said about this Brad Nailer. It has been a pleasure to use and has never missed a lick when needing to attach moldings, when you don't want them to look like they were nailed. Performed flawlessly for me, and I can hardly wait till I need it again! Thanks Northern, D. C .W of Farmington Hls, MI"

Excelent product,
August 18, 2008
By Homemakerfrom Barltett, IL
"I have been using the gun for all the baseboard installation through out the house and other minor projects, all I can say is AWESOME! This gun performs flawlessly--with just 1 jam out of 3 boxes of nails (6000 nails). I should get another one with angle nailing for corners and such. The only con that I can think of is the nail tip should have a rubber cover so that it would not mar the surface. I have to improvise using the rubberize compound. The tool balance is excellent and light for long usage. Overall, it is a good tool for home use. For high volume and fast nailing, this tool is not suitable since it can only fire by pressing the trigger while depressing the nail tip."

18-Gauge Brad Nailer,
April 21, 2008
By Anonymous Reviewerfrom DeQuincy, LA
"I purchased my first Norther Tool 18 guage brad nailer some 18 years ago. It was out of their book a friend gave me. I built my first set of cabinets with it. 40 feet of birch cabinets with doors. I used it over the years with many woodworking projects as is my hobby and trade. It went out on me last year, I ordered new one online, received new one in three days. I disassembled the old one. Found upper gasket had dry rotted. Replaced that. Now I have two, one for one size brad, the other I can load with another size. You just can't beat them for price, longevity. One last thing they shoot anywhere from a 1/4" brad up to almost 2". I have used other brands of brads in them but prefer to order through Northern. Saves me a trip to hardware store and they deliver very timely."

Outstanding value !!!!!!,
April 14, 2008
By Chris1974from Columbus, GA
"Very impressed with quality of nailer. This unit works better than a very expensive one I borrowed from a friend of mine. I have used it for running crown molding, base board, quarter round and for laying 3/4" plywood to smooth a floor for new vinyl flooring. I am very pleased with this purchase. It will shot up to 1 3/4" nails where others seem to stop around 1 1/2" or at the most 1 5/8". So far it has only jammed 2 times and those were my fault cause I refilled it before it was empty and didn't line the nails up just right. However clearing a jam is easy thanks to the design of the front of the unit. If you purchase this unit, its best to wait until it is completely empty before reloading. I would highly recommend this nailer to anybody from a professional to novice."

Can't beat it for the price,
April 14, 2008
By happyMIcamperfrom Michigan
"I've always wanted a brad nailer and am now happy I bought this one. For the amount I will use it I could have gotten by without but it is an invaluable tool for certain jobs. I just finished a job in the basement that would have taken me a lot longer had I been required to hand nail it. I would recommend this tool to anyone who is a DIY person."

GREAT LITTLE TOOL,
January 14, 2008
By Hecklerfrom Middlebury Center, PA
"I was looking for an inexpensive air nailer to finish up some trim around the house. I looked at all the name brands, but they were also much more money than I wanted to spend. Then I saw what Northern Tool had to offer & I decided to give them a try. I was truely amazed. This nailer worked like a gem. It has never jammed yet. The Northern Tool brand air tools are a great product."

Great product.,

"I recently bought this tool and it has paid for itself many times over. For years I did it the old fashioned way, hammer and nails. Finally I bought a compressor and this fantastic little tool. It has saved me so much time and headache. I wish I would have bought this stuff long ago. Thanks for selling a very good quality product with a small price tag."

"The product came on time and in perfect condition. I installed some nails and pluged it into my air compressor, the little nailer worked perfectly everytime. It is light, well balanced, and feels good in your hand. I use it for trim work and small projects.
It's a great product for the price."

Excellent tool, not to mention the price!!,
October 21, 2007
By Gordofrom Philadelphia, PA
"This is a well made and extremely affordable brad nailer! I am on a tight budget, so I searched for the cheapest nail gun (without compromising the quality), and I found this one. I have been extremely pleased with the power it produces and operates much better than my porta-cable one. It is what I call a "semi bump-action", meaning that you can shoot a nail by pressing the trigger before the safety is pushed down, and then shoot a nail by pressing the tool into the wood, but you cannot do this sequentially (keep the trigger depressed and run down a piece of wood by just "bumping" it along the way. This is a quality tool and i would recommend it to anyone!"

Beyond Value,
October 15, 2007
By MrHandymanfrom Arizona
"I purchased this primarily for the discounted price, however I was completely surprised when it arrived. Solid metal construction in all the critical areas with a few plastic parts such as the brad slider. So far I have shot about 1000 brads with no misfires. This nailer certainly compares to much higher priced models."

Hardwood,
July 12, 2007
By Stairguyfrom Derby, KS
"I use this brad nailer in my shop more often then I imagined when I bought it. I work mostly in oak and this nailer has no problem driving 2" brads. I also use it to attach thin plywood backing on cabinets with 5/8" brads and it works equally as well."
