Decent pump, overheats, doesn't duty cycle,

"I have an older version of this pump. I have two models. It is great to have fittings such as the transfer nozzel.
The one complaint I have is that this pump doesn't duty cycle or displace heat. You can run it 15 minutes tops and then must turn it off. I fried the bushings on one of these pumps. Fortunately they are user fixable."

"I was in need of a transfer pump to pump #2 furnace fuel out of a tank in my basement into a tank outside the basement window. I bought the DC 12V fuel transfer pump, hooked it all up and pumped the fuel out in no time at all. I had about a 6 foot lift on the transfer and on problem with that. The local fuel company wanted $80 to do the job. I bought the pump and got the job done in no time and still have the pump to replace my old hand operated pump for diesel tractor fuel. I was happy with the pump and the ease of use getting my task completed. It worked well for me, I glad I got the pump."

"Been using this pump to transfer waste vegetable oil for my "grease car" setups. Can't beat it for the price--keeps pumping away, even for cold, thick, floured oil. My only complaint is that the on/off switch was of extremely poor quality, and failed within the first week. It was easy enough to bypass though, and haven't had any problems since."

"I purchased this pump to help me transfer/pump Vegetable Oil. Even when the oil is cold, it still pumps at a decent rate. When the Oil is hot, it really pumps well. I even have a 10 micron filter attached to the output; No problems. I purchased the 2 year warranty just in case. Great pump for the money, very satisfied."
