Prelube,

"We have installed several of these pumps onto stand-by systems. We set them up through a relay which starts the pump prior to starting the main engine. This allows for prelubing/injecting oil into the top-end to help insure longer engine life. It works great; and we haven't had any fail yet. Very reliable."

Good value,

"I use this pump waste vegetable oil between containers. I've pumped quantites up to 50 gal at a time and other than being a little slow for quantities as large as this it works quite well. Great for on the road refills of prefiltered oil. It's compact and the hoses take up far more space than the pump and motor.
It has a 10 amp in line fuse on the alligator clamp which blew when I was pumping through a 10 micron goldenron waterblock element, but the element was clogged, so that was my fault. There is a small strainer that mounts to the "in" side of the pump itself which clogged quickly when I was aspirating too deep from the dumpster. I need a strainer at the end of the hose, but this strainer comes apart with a little bit of effort and a little mess to scrape the junk out.
Overall for the 1st month I have had it I am very pleased with it's value and resonable cost.

"I use this pump to transfer veggie oil thru a 10 micron goldenrod filter and into my fuel tank. Ive only used it for about 6 fill-ups, but so far it is holding up and seems sturdy. 3.5 gpm is about what I am getting out of it(a little less since I am pumping it thru a filter). My only problem with it is the 12 volt wire with alligator clips is a bit short. Im going to need to splice on a longer wire."

"i've used other pumps before, but this one is great. not the biggest, not the fastest, but super reliable and by far the biggest bang for you buck!
I use mine to transfer used vegetable oil, first going through a Goldenrod 15 micron water block filter (which also is great by the way)."
