3 in 1 framing nailer, October 9, 2007
By Lumberman from Webster SD

"The main reason I purchased the nailer is that I have arthritis in my hands and its hard for me to keep pounding with a hammer. With the nailer I can go a lot longer and get done a lot faster. The other reasons are the light weight and that I am able to shoot three sizes of nails. It not only shoots 16d, it also shoots 8d. I can use it for building shleves, sheeting and remodeling projects. I also work in a lumber yard where I build feed bunks, this will allow me to build them in a lot shorter time. The price of the nailer was great and the price of the nails was also right. I am very satisfied with my nailer after using it to complete our new garage at the lake."

Quick, Easy, Dependable, July 9, 2007
By TheBear from Gulfport, Ms.

"Since I purchased the Northern Industrial 3-in-1 Framing Nailer, I've used it several times. Each time made me realize that I should have bought one years earlier. It makes you "look forward" to do the jobs that you would normally dread. It truly makes the job quicker and easier, especially when you are 25 feet off the ground, on a ladder, holding a 2x 6 in the other hand. The qualiy of this tool is as I would hope it would be, very good. It's not only compatable with the higher cost brands that you see in the building supply stores, but exceeds some of them in shooting 3 different angle of nails.
You better get one!"

Excellent product, November 23, 2006
By tooltime from Moyie Springs, Northern Idaho

"Let me say first that I've never used a nailer before, but sure have driven alot of nails in my time.
I'm in the process of building my retirement/dream home in N. Idaho and decided to buy one and see what all the "hub-bub" was about. What a great way to frame nail! Light, easy to use, accurate, and best of all quick and effortless!
And the price? much better than all the name brands!
I can't imagine how I ever got along without it. And if it ever wears out I would buy another one immediately."

Excellent!, April 25, 2008
By bmizzy from Dallas, GA

"This is the first nailer I have purchased, though I have used many on various projects over the years. I could not be happier with the quality! I did purchase the wrong style of nail (33 vs 34 degree), but didn't realize it until I had already put through about 150 nails without issue. This thing just works.

I'm satisfied enough that I will consider Northern brand for all future tool purchases."

Very Pleased in North Carolina, April 21, 2008
By Tkrispy from Morganton, North Carolina

"Before finding the 3-in-1 framing nailer from Northern, I had searched for a good framing nailer from some of the other big name companies but couldn't quite afford the costs of those other brands. The 3-in-1 by Northern was a very affordable nailer with the quality comparable to those other brands. I have only used my nailer a few times, but get the same results as from the other nailers. And, I can find nails for it at my local home improvement store without having to use a particular brand. I would recommend this nailer to any do-it-yourselfer who is on a tight budget. With the cost of materials going up everyday, to get a good affordable tool is a must. Thanks Northern!!"

Great Nailer at a Great Price, April 14, 2008
By DocD from Colorado Springs, CO

"I did a lot of looking before I purchased this nailer. I decided to get this new one because used ones were about the same price. I'm glad I did. This works well for my home addition project. I've got about 10 hours use and it's working like when I first got it."

Framing nailer, April 14, 2008
By knybbb from topaz. CA

"I bought this nailer to do projects around the house, is has preformed better the expected. Used it to nail Hardy Board on my garage and workshop, and also used it to frame an extension on my workshop, worked flawlessly. Operates like a nailer at a much higher price."

Satisfactory, January 26, 2008
By overdrive from Spartanburg, SC

"I got this nailer for the price. I like that it uses clipped head and round head nails. It depends on what you use it for. I was only able to drive about four nails, and it seemed to lock up, and shoot blanks. if I waited for about two min. it would start again no problem. I'm useing a coleman 27gal. 125 psi tank to drive it. So, if you are building small projects, it should work fine. I wouldn't recommend building a house with it though. You can't beat the price !"

Nails & tips, January 24, 2008
By JonH from Marietta, GA

"The gun performed fairly well but kept jamming when it got down to the last 3-4 nails in a sleve. I'm not sure if it was the nails or the gun but it was quite annoying to have to stop each time and spend 5 minutes clearing the jam.
The rubber tip also kept sliding sideways and ended up eventually getting nailed to a board, which then had to be pulled out.
Not the best in the world but certainlly not the worst."

Can't beat it for the money, January 21, 2008
By MVilla from Lindstrom, MN

"I bought this framing nailer to build a utility shed for my lawn tractor and garden tools and saws. It worked flawlessly. Easy to set up. Ready to go in minutes. Or right out of the box if you are using the right nails. I could not believe the price for something that is so functional and almost necassary for a do-it-yourselfer.
I highly recommend this nailer. It's a great value."

Excellent nailer for the price, January 21, 2008
By flyinmx5 from Asheville, NC

"This nailer is a very good tool for the price! I have had no trouble using two of the three available nail angles with only a couple of jams per 1000 nails. This is equivalent to other very well know brand nailer I use on jobsites. This nailer could be a little heavier than professional models, but the home user would see the difference as insignificant. Overall, an awesome tool!"

Framing Gun, January 15, 2008
By RobC from Boston,MA

"This tool is so easy to use. It makes getting nails easy. If the nail supplyer is out of a the degree nail you are looking for you still have options on other degree type nails for the gun. Another good thing about this gun it is not to heavy. Cleaning is also easy."
