"This is a very good compressor for operating nail guns, staple guns, brad nailers and even framing nailers. I've used it for all of these jobs. Lightweight, durable and holds pressured in transit."

Great value,

"The little compressor has been outstanding.
We use it to support a group of go kart racers. We often run splitters off of the main hose and have 4 hoses strung out in the pit area, With all of the tire changing and resulting beading of the new tires, the Porter Cable never misses a beat and we are never short of air.

"I have owned one of these compressors for several years now. Never had the first sign of trouble. I've re-trimmed nearly my entire house, filled tires, even blown out my 2-car garage on occasions. It's a little work horse for the smaller jobs. I've never used it on an air wrench or large nailer. But for general home use, it's great."

Look no further,

"This small compressor is the only one you should be considering if you are in need of a light duty one. It's compact, light, cheap, and far more reliable than the other off-brands I've owned, in spite of being nearly the same price!
It can handle almost any job you need a compressor for around the house: smaller nail guns (it will drive a framing nail; just takes awhile to recharge), auto tools, etc.
Just buy it."

Works great but loud,

"This compressor works great.
Well built and light weight. It is handy to toss in the truck and head to the job. It will supply two or three air nailers at once, even when roofing. It cycles relatively quickly.
It does have a down side. It is loud. Real loud. Loud enought that you will want a long hose so you can set it outside while you are working inside. (For inside use I recommended the Makita Hotdog)
Still this compressor will handle about any air tool you plug into. Great all around compressor.

Excellent Homeowner Accessory,

"Since buying this compressor 6 months ago, I've been kicking myself for not buying it sooner. I bought the compressor as part of a kit, including finish and brad nailers, and a narrow crown stapler. The unit has performed flawlessly. The noise level is moderate, and once the compressor has reached operating pressure at 150psi, it runs only intermittently for short periods. I tend to operate the guns and stapler at around 90-100psi, so it takes some time before the tank needs to refresh. When purchased as part of the kit, the compressor is an exceptional value, but even at Northern Tool's stand-alone price its a good deal."

GREAT PRODUCT,

"I have used this on a roof, and the three leg system was steady on the peak of the roof. I have also kept the compressor on the ground while working on a single story roof and ran 200' of hose with no loss of pressure to my gun. I have run everything from roofing nailers to staple guns for carpet, and this compressor has never lost power. I have never waited for the compressor to catch up. We have an off brand at work that is not as reliable as my Porter Cable. I have used it to pump up my tires on my van, and clean the saw dust off myself before going home. Buy this, and you won't be disappointed."
